Jenny advises individuals, including business owners and farming families, on tax and estate planning, including wills, trusts and powers of attorney. She also provides advice to trustees on the management and taxation of trusts. Jenny is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Jenny is recognised as a ‘rising star’ in the 2020 edition of the Legal 500 directory of law firms.

- Advised many couples with children from previous relationships on wills to ensure that both their partner and their children are provided for.
- Helped clients plan for their future by preparing lasting powers of attorney and tax-efficient wills which will offer protection for a vulnerable beneficiary following their deaths.
- Created a tax-efficient maintenance and education trust for a client’s daughters within a tight timeframe to comply with a court deadline.
- Advised executors on the redirection by way of a deed of variation of a legacy left to the deceased in order to reduce the inheritance tax payable on her estate.

Jenny studied Law with French at the University of Birmingham and as part of her course studied French Law for a year in Bordeaux. She then undertook the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham. She trained and qualified at Shakespeare Putsman in Birmingham where she worked before joining WH in November 2010. Jenny is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
